Provision of Excellence: world class conferences and seminars
In 2006 and 2007 naturechild hosted the First International Integrated Acupuncture Seminars for Fertility and Obstetrics.
These groundbreaking conferences were held at The Royal College of Physicians, and are leading in the world for promoting the integrated practice of Chinese medicine in these fields.
The First International Integrated Acupuncture Seminars for Fertility and Obstetrics
Integrating Chinese and Western Medicine – a new level of post graduate learning
These seminars have been developed in light of the forthcoming regulation of Chinese medicine; providing excellence of acupuncture training along with teaching from midwives and gynaecologists, helping to equip acupuncturists to better understand how to adjunct western treatment, and working to develop the potential for robust research.
These seminars are designed to help develop special interest groups AFN / ACT for practitioners, signifying suitable and safe standards, with a well grounded understanding of the western treatment in these fields. Delegates completing these courses are eligible to join the Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN) or the Acupuncture for Childbirth Team (ACT).
These seminars are open to both traditional acupuncturists and to medical acupuncturists.
The Integrated Acupuncture Seminars for Fertility and Obstetrics are in process to be validated by Thames Valley University as part of their developing program for an MSC in Complementary Medicine.
