About AFN & ACT

Jani is a member of AFN, The Acupuncture Fertility Network and ACT, The Acupuncture for Childbirth Team

AFN & ACT are professional special interest groups for acupuncturists interested in treating in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with an emphasis on treatment for fertility to support both natural and assisted conception.

These groups are dedicated to supporting couples through fertility issues, and through all aspects of obstetric care. All practitioner members are MBAcC, Members of the British Acupuncture Council, who have qualified after a 3 year course of study, Lic Ac MBAcC.

ACT and AFN are also open to members of ATCM or BMAS.

Membership to AFN & ACT is on the basis of Continuing Professional Development, CPD, through an undertaking of post graduate study in the fields of gynaecology & fertility and obstetrics.
Requirement for membership is attendance of post graduate courses in these fields.

AFN & ACT supports their members through study and exchange, offering:

advise about all aspects of the practice of Chinese Medicine for Obs & Gynae
 
exchange of articles and studies relating to fertility, gynaecology, and obstetrics
both Western and Chinese

exchange of materials used to help support clients
 
contacts and connections that promote the integrated use of acupuncture
