Marian Fixler
Marian Fixler Marian Fixler qualified from the London School of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1991. This was followed by further clinical training in a teaching hospital in Nanjing, China. In more recent years, she has trained extensively in a number of Japanese acupuncture systems in the UK, the Netherlands and Japan.
Marian taught for many years at an undergraduate level as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster and as a guest lecturer at other acupuncture colleges in London. She organises and teaches on courses in Japanese acupuncture both here and in the UK at post-graduate level.
Her previous clinical experience has included working in GP practices on the NHS, in organisations working with people with HIV/AIDS and drug and alcohol problems. She is currently working in private practice in London.
Marian has published a number of articles on Japanese acupuncture and regularly writes book reviews in acupuncture professional journals.
