Jani's Oxford acupuncture practice is based from the home office of Naturechild, south of Oxford, in the village of Kennington. The clinic is easily accessible on the west side of the city, just off the A34, outside of city centre traffic, with its own parking and a convenient bus route nearby.

91 The Avenue is next to number 87. it is the house with the light green window frames, with the crabapple tree front and centre, next to the ivy covered gate.
Jani has 2 dogs, Jackson and Milly, who are very friendly but they will bark when someone approaches the door. Please do let us know in advance if you are concerned about dogs and Jani will ensure that the dogs are safely closed away upstairs. If not, pleased be prepared to visit with them while you wait...
Bus Route:
from Oxford: bus stop H2 on St. Aldates, bus number 35, every 15 min. stop at Kennington School (on the right). 91 The Avenue is 50 meteres south on the LEFT.
from Abingdon High street: # 35 , every 15 min. stop at Kennington school (on the left), cross the road, 91 The Avenue is 50 meteres south on the LEFT.
By car:
there is parking directly in front of the clinic, with 2 bays available. Please ensure that you do not block another patient in. Jani's vehicle is the red citroen C1, you are welcome to park behind that.
Kennington is a long village with 2 miles of more than 20 evil speed humps (the kind that wreck your suspension and eat your tires). These directions bring you around this obstacle to the south end of the village where you will find the clinic.
Our recommendation is to avoid the Kennington Road.
Appproach from the A34 southbound:
come past the Botley interchange, stay on the A34 past the South Hinksey slip road, take the next slip road LEFT into the Hinksey Hill Interchange. Take the 3rd exit RIGHT signposted Wootton/Boar's Hill. Follow the hill up for 400 meters and bear LEFT, past the Wootton turn. You will pass the West Country Hotel on your right, follow this undulating wooded road for 1 1/2 miles. The first (and only) turn LEFT is into the Bagley Wood Road (signposted Kennington on your right). Follow this road for 1 mile, (back across the A34), down the slope, past the Small World nursery on your right. at the bottom of the slope bear right into St. Swithun's Road, follow this for 200 meters to the T junction with the mini roundabout, signposted The Avenue. Turn RIGHT,.

From Hinksey Hill all this will take less than 5 min.
Approach from the A34 Northbound:
come past the Marcham Interchange, stay on the A34 for 4 miles to the Hinksey Hill Interchange, take the slip road LEFT, and take the first exit LEFT signposted Wootton/Boar's Hill. Follow the hill up for 400 meters and bear LEFT, past the Wootton turn. You will pass the West Country Hotel on your right, follow this undulating wooded road for 1 1/2 miles. Approach from the A4142 Ring Road (connection from the A40/M40):
folow the ring road west, signposted A34 (it's approximately 6 miles from the A40 to the Hinksey Hill Interchange). When you get to the Kenninington roundabout bear LEFT and GO PAST the turn signposted Kennington on your left. This will bring you onto the Hinksey Hill Interchange, go straight over, 2nd exit signposted Wootton/Boar's Hill. Follow the hill up for 400 meters and bear LEFT, past the Wootton turn.
